DETAILS OF ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE VIDYALAYA
Sports & Games
 
1.     13 Girls + 16 Boys  were selected for National Level Games & Sports.
2.     Kum C. Neeraja of  Class XII  selected for  SGFI in Hand Ball.
3.     Mas. Y. Sukumar of Class X and Mas. B. Dinakar of Class XII Selected for SGFI in Athletics.
4.     Mas. C. Mohith Raj of Class X  selected and participated in SGFI   
  in Cricket under 17 Boys.
5.    Mas. B. Sandeep Reddy of Class XII & S. Pavam Kumar of Class VII selected  for SGFI Hand Ball.
 
NCC:
 
In   JNV, Chittoor, Half Wing Boys Troop and Half Wing Girls Troop are functioning. Every year Cadets are attending Combined Annual Training Camps and appearing for NCC “A” Certificate Examinations. Cdt. B. Architha  & C. Priyanka of Class IX  represented Tirupathi Group participated in Inter Group Competitions in Shooting Test which was held at Secunderabd in the Month of August, 2012.
SUPW :
 
          Exhibit namely “PETTY TO PRETTY” participated in Cluster Level Science Exhibitions which was held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kadapa Dist.,  got First place and selected for Regional Science Exhibitions which was held at JNV, Warangal.
ART:
 
The students of the Vidyalaya participated in Arts Competition conducted by Eenadu Daily on the occasion of Children’s Day, Sri Ramakrishna Sevashram on National Youth Day, and Poster Making Competition by our Vidyalaya students and all India Peace Painting Festival by youth wing Rajayoga Education Research Foundation- Prajaitha Brahma Kumari’s Eswariya Viswa Vidyalaya and secured prizes.
 
Music:
 
 Vidyalaya  Students  participated  in  solo and group singing competition conducted by Sri Ramakrishna Sevashram,  Madanapalle on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s Birthday and  secured prizes.
 
LATERAL ENTRY:
 
Admission, depending on vacancies existing in Class IX, is filled through a Lateral entry selection Test. In the year 2012-13,  337 students registered for the Test of which  09 were selected for admission. During the present year, a total of 09 seats ( 05 – General, 04 – SC ) are lying vacant. Efforts would be taken to ensure wider publicity for the selection of the right and deserving candidates.

ART  Activities:  Beautiful Landscapes portraits and pictures to be prepared by students. Monitoring and preparing the students to participate in various competitions to be conducted in the school. Monitoring and training the students to participate in various competitions like Eanadu competitions, Hindu Young World, Art Drive – International Level etc., encouraging the neighbours schools to participate in art activities to be held at school as a part of Pace setting activities.  Inviting the students of neighbours schools and visiting the neighbours schools with the works of students.  Contributing the works of students for wall magazine competitions and school magazine etc,
 
MUSIC: Folk songs are part of the music activity adopted by school along with patriotic songs. Efforts are made to teach all the students the rudiments of classical music. Opportunities are provided to them to exhibit their talents through inter-house competitions.
 
GAMES AND SPORTS:  Since Games and Sports play a vital role in enhancing the physical and mental fitness of students, all efforts are made to impart quality training in various ball games like Basket ball, Hand Ball, Volley Ball, Table Tennis, Athletic skills and Yoga.  Participation in Inter school competitions, rural meets, and cluster meets are be aimed at to heighten the competitive skills of students and provide interaction.
